Quora follow for follow: followers who read your answers
On Quora a follower is a reader: your answers can show up in their feed. Here is how follow for follow works there and how to get followers who actually read.

Follow for follow on Quora: the basics
Follow for follow on Quora means two writers agree to follow each other. You do it from a profile with the blue Follow button, or by hovering over an author's name on desktop.
What a follow does on Quora: the follower's feed starts to include your activity, the answers you write and the ones you upvote. Quora notes that followers are not guaranteed to see all of it, because your activity competes with everything else they follow.
What you can follow on Quora
People
Their answers, upvotes and questions show up in your feed.
Spaces
Follow a Space to see its posts; F4F happens mostly here.
Topics
Questions and answers tagged with the topic appear in your feed.
Questions
Following a question shows you new answers to it; public profiles list questions you follow.
Does the follower number matter on Quora?
Yes, more than most people expect. Followers are the first readers of a new answer, so a writer with an audience gets early views and upvotes, and every upvote from a follower can carry the answer into that follower's own network. The count also sits on your profile, where readers check whether to trust you.
The count helps only when the followers behind it read your topic, and that takes the right tool.
Where Quora F4F actually happens
F4F Spaces
Follow for Follow is the biggest, at 16.5K followers on Oct 26, 2026.
"Follow and support" Spaces
Many small personal Spaces ask visitors to follow and promise to follow back.
Comment threads
Writers in the same topic follow each other after a good exchange in the comments.
Space contributor lists
Contributors to the same Space often follow one another.
Does F4F work on Quora? Yes, if you do it right
Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right; nobody else on the market has this technology.
On Quora, done right means followers who read your topic. A follower who cares about personal finance will see and upvote your next finance answer; a follower from a generic follow-back Space will scroll past it.
That is the result upvote.club gives you on Quora: real followers on the profile you choose.
What a follower is worth on Quora
Not every follower adds the same. Here is what different kinds of followers do for a new answer.
| Follower type | Sees your new answers | Likely to upvote | Carries the answer further |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reads your topic | Often | Yes | Yes, through their own followers |
| Follows many writers in your topic | Sometimes | Sometimes | Sometimes |
| From a follow-back Space, other topic | Rarely | Rarely | No |
| Inactive account | No | No | No |
Advantages of F4F on Quora, and how to add what is missing
A first audience for new writers
Your first answers get readers instead of zero views.
Contacts in your topic
Writers in the same field find and quote each other.
Add answers people search for
Followers stay when your answers keep landing in their feed.
Add a Space of your own
Space followers see your posts without having to follow your profile.
A follow-back worth having on Quora
How many followers to expect
Manual F4F on Quora is slow: most of the follow-back Spaces we checked had fewer than ten followers, so a week of following brings a few dozen follow-backs at best. Answers bring more. One writer grew past twenty-five thousand followers from 158 answers, which shows where Quora followers really come from.
When to follow back on Quora
Writers you would read anyway
Their answers improve your feed and you upvote them naturally.
People who comment on your answers
They already read you, and a follow-back keeps the conversation going.
Your feed is built from who you follow, so a random follow-back fills it with noise.
From F4F to a real Quora following
Answer questions with many followers
Popular questions send steady readers to your profile.
Start a Space
A Space builds its own followers around one topic you post in daily.
Add topic credentials
A specific credential next to your name makes readers follow.
Put a reason to follow in your bio
Say what you answer and how often.
What F4F gives your Quora profile
Followers grow a Quora account only with the right tool behind them.
F4F on Quora gives you a follower count and a first group of readers for new answers. Followers who read your topic add views and upvotes in the first hours, which is when an answer settles into its position on the question page.
The number to look past
Look past the total. On Quora, look at views and upvotes on answers in the first day after you post, and at how many new followers each good answer brings.
