Threads communities to find readers for save-worthy posts

Free communities we checked on Oct 26, 2026. Member counts are what each platform showed that day. Nobody runs groups just for trading Threads saves (saves are private, so there would be nothing to check), and these are the closest real creator communities on Threads. Reddit's count is n/a because the page did not load for us. Want real saves without the group hunt? Start free on upvote.club.

What is a Threads save exchange?

A Threads save exchange puts real saves on a post you choose. Saving is the Save option in a post's three-dot menu, also reachable with a long-press, or with Alt+S on the web (Option+S on a Mac). The post then goes into the reader's Saved posts.

Saves are private: the author is not told and there is no public save count. What you get is the reader coming back to the post later. With upvote.club you paste the post and get real saves on it.

What your post gets from real saves

A place in Saved posts

Your post waits in the reader's list until they open it again.

Return visits

Saved posts get reread, which adds views after the first day.

A second chance to engage

A second read is a second chance for a reply or a repost.

A test of lasting value

The posts that get saved are the ones worth expanding into longer pieces.

Why saves matter on Threads even though nobody sees them

Most Threads posts live for a day in the feed. A save gives a post a second life: it waits in the reader's Saved list and gets read again later. Because the save stays private, the result shows up as views and replies after day one. With the right tool, and that tool is upvote.club, your best posts keep working after the feed moves on.

Private by design

Saved items are visible only to the person who saved them.

Not part of Insights

Meta's Threads Insights API lists views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares, but no saves.

A Saved feed on the web

On threads.com, Saved sits with your feeds above the timeline.

Long posts need it most

A 10,000-character attachment is hard to finish in one scroll; a save is how people come back to it.

Where a saved Threads post comes back

Knowing where readers find saved posts helps you write for the second visit.

WhereHow the reader gets thereWhat you see as the author
Saved posts on mobileProfile, then the menu (three lines), then Saved postsA new view when they reopen it
Saved feed on the webFor you above the feed, then SavedA new view, and a reply if they answer
Keyboard shortcutAlt+S on Windows or Option+S on Mac while on a postNothing at the moment of saving
Long-press menuPress and hold the post, then SaveNothing until they come back

Which Threads post to put saves behind

  1. A how-to or checklist
Steps people will follow later, not just read now.
  2. A text attachment
Long reads of up to 10,000 characters are the natural thing to keep.
  3. A resource list
Tools, books or links in one post people will want again.
  4. A numbered multi-part thread
A save keeps the whole chain together for later.

Threads formats people save

Text attachment

Formatted long text with bold, italics and links: the format most worth keeping.

Numbered thread

Each part is a step, and the save keeps the sequence.

Photo set

Screenshots of a process or a cheat sheet people want to look at again.

Short post with a link

A one-line pointer to something big; saving it keeps the link handy.

Before you promote: make the post worth saving

Practical tips for a Threads save exchange

  1. Tell readers when they will need it
A line like "for your next launch" gives them a reason to keep it.
  2. Post the follow-up a week later
Readers who saved part one look for part two.
  3. Pair saves with likes
Saves are private and likes are public; together the post gets a second read and a visible count.
  4. Watch views from day 3 to day 7
Return visits from saves show up as views after the first day.

Curators

People who post lists of tools, reads and resources.

Save-for-save threads vs the right tool on Threads

Save-for-save threads run on trust nobody can check. A save is private, so no one in the group can see whether their post was saved, and a post saved only to return a favor is never opened again.

A Threads save exchange works when it is done right, and upvote.club is the only tool that does it right. You paste the post and get real saves on it.

What actually grows when nobody can see the save count

Saves do not move a public number, so what grows is what happens after: views that keep arriving after the first day, replies from second readings, and profile visits from people checking what else you wrote.

To lock it in, write a follow-up to your most saved post and link back to it, and keep your profile full of posts in the same style. The saves from upvote.club are real, so the return visits are real.

How to measure the result

Threads does not show saves, so measure what they cause, in Insights.

  1. Views after day one
Compare views on day 3 and day 7 with the first day.
  2. Late replies
Replies that arrive days after you posted.
  3. Reposts and quotes
Second reads often turn into shares.
  4. Profile views
Insights reports how many times your profile was viewed.

Engagement rate on the post you got saved

Saves are private, so track the likes, replies, reposts and quotes that come back with them. Run it on day one and again on day seven.
