Check your YouTube visibility

The check reads public numbers for your last 15 uploads and compares them with your channel median.

How to use the visibility check

  1. Paste your channel or video link
Use a channel URL, @handle or a single video.
  2. Read the verdict against your baseline
See whether recent videos broke below your channel median in a consistent pattern.
  3. Check YouTube Studio
Open Studio, then Content, and look at each video's status column for the official answer.

How the YouTube visibility check works

The check reads public data (views, likes and upload dates of your recent videos) and looks for a pattern: did the latest uploads drop well below your own channel median, or do they just vary video to video?

It also checks search indexing: whether a video comes up when you search its exact title. YouTube Studio is the definitive source for your own videos, because it lists each video's status per upload.

What the result actually means

What you seeWhat it meansWhat it does not prove
Visible, views within baselineVideos are indexed and recent views look normal. That the next video will take off: packaging still decides.
Indexed, views below baselineVideos can be found but recent uploads undershot your median.A visibility problem: most often the title and thumbnail lost to your own back catalog.
Not found for its exact titleSearch did not return the video this time.A lasting state: new videos can take time to index; re-check later.

How to check your YouTube visibility by hand

  1. Search the exact title
Search a video's exact title in a private window and see whether it appears.
  2. Check traffic sources
In YouTube Studio, compare YouTube search, Browse and Suggested traffic with previous weeks.
  3. Check impressions
A sharp fall in impressions in Studio is the first visibility signal.
  4. Mind the view-count change
Since 24 August 2026 any play of the first frame counts as a view, so compare videos from the same side of that date.

Frequently asked questions

How does the YouTube visibility check work?

It reads public numbers for your recent uploads, compares them with your channel median and checks whether videos appear in search for their exact titles.

Where can I see the official status of my videos?

In YouTube Studio, under Content, in each video's status column.

Why did my views drop if my videos are visible?

Usually packaging: a new upload competes with your own back catalog on title and thumbnail.

Did the August 2026 view-count change affect my numbers?

Yes. Since 24 August 2026 any first-frame play counts as a view, so compare like with like.

It can take a while to be indexed; re-check after a day.

Do I need to sign in?

No. The check uses public data only.

Does getting early likes on a YouTube video work?

Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.
