Coming soon

The Check your Bluesky visibility is coming soon.

The live check is coming soon. Meanwhile, use the manual check below: it takes about a minute.

How to use the visibility check

  1. Enter a public handle
A handle, @handle or profile URL.
  2. Compare public signals
Profile, search and public feed availability are checked.
  3. Read the limits
Public signals support a reference result, not an official status.

How the Bluesky visibility test works

Bluesky does not expose a public endpoint that labels an account's visibility. The test therefore reports only the public signals it can verify: whether the profile resolves, whether search returns it, and whether recent posts are available in the public feed.

Some people ask apps not to show their account to logged-out visitors. When a profile carries that setting, a logged-out view will not show it, and that is the owner's choice.

What the result actually means

What you seeWhat it meansWhat it does not prove
All signals availableProfile, search and recent posts are publicly reachable. That every post reaches custom feeds.
Mixed resultThe profile loads but search or activity signals are incomplete.A visibility change: indexing, account activity or temporary API behaviour can cause it.
Profile missingThe handle did not resolve. Why: a renamed, deleted or temporarily unavailable profile looks the same.

Frequently asked questions

Does this checker need my password?

No. It uses public AT Protocol endpoints and never asks for account access.

Why is recent activity inconclusive?

The profile may have no recent public posts, or the public feed endpoint may not be available at the time of the check.

What does a mixed result mean?

The profile loads but search or activity signals are incomplete; indexing or temporary API behaviour can explain it. Test again while logged out.

Why does my profile not show to logged-out visitors?

You may have the setting that asks apps not to show your account to logged-out visitors. Check your privacy settings.

Can I check a custom domain handle?

Yes. Enter the full domain handle.

How do custom feeds affect visibility?

Custom feeds pick posts by topic and early engagement, so a visible account still needs engagement to be surfaced widely.

Does getting early likes on Bluesky posts work?

Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.
