How the calculator works
The calculator needs three numbers: followers today, net followers gained in the last 30 days, and your goal. Your monthly growth rate is your 30-day gain divided by the followers you had 30 days ago.
Example: with 2,400 followers today and 180 gained, you started the month at 2,220. Your growth rate is 180 / 2,220 = 8.1% a month.
It then projects two ways: a flat line (the same number of new followers each month) and a compounding line (the same percentage each month).
