The live check is coming soon. Meanwhile, use the manual check below: it takes about a minute.

How to use the visibility check

  1. Enter your Instagram username
    No login needed.
  2. Answer the quick questions
Tell the tool which signs you are seeing.
  3. Get a color-coded result
Green, yellow or red visibility, with what to check next.

How the Instagram visibility check works

The check combines what is public (whether your profile loads for someone logged out) with what only you can see: whether your recent posts reach non-followers through hashtags, Explore and Reels.

Instagram also shows your own account the most direct answer. On your account, open Settings, then Account status, to see whether your content can currently be recommended to people who do not follow you.

What the result actually means

What you seeWhat it meansWhat it does not prove
Green: visibleProfile loads publicly and your posts reach non-followers.That every post will perform: content still varies.
Yellow: some signsOne area, such as hashtags or Explore, looks weaker than usual.A lasting change: compare over the next few posts.
Red: limited reachSeveral signs point to posts reaching mostly followers. The cause: check Account status in your settings.

How to test it manually: the logged-out or second-account method

  1. Open a private window or a second account
Use one that does not follow you.
  2. Open a hashtag you used
Scroll the Recent tab and look for your post.
  3. Check Account status
On your own account, open Settings, then Account status.
  4. Keep a reach log
Note reach per post so you can tell a real cliff from normal week-to-week variance.

Frequently asked questions

How can I tell whether non-followers see my Instagram posts?

Check a hashtag you used from a second account that does not follow you, and look at the non-follower share in post insights.

Where does Instagram show my account status?

In Settings, under Account status, on your own account.

Do I need to give my password?

No. The check never asks for login details.

Why are my Stories getting fewer views?

Story views follow how often followers interact with you. Compare with your usual range before drawing conclusions.

Is a drop in likes the same as low visibility?

Not always. Check reach first: if reach is stable, the content is being seen and the drop is about the post itself.

How often should I check?

After a few new posts, using your reach log.

Does getting saves early on an Instagram post work?

Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.
