Why your LinkedIn is not growing yet

Most LinkedIn advice is a list of tricks: the perfect posting hour, the magic hashtag, the template that went viral once. You try a few, nothing changes, and it starts to feel like the feed only works for people who already have an audience.

The real reasons are usually simpler. The profile does not tell visitors why to follow. Posts jump between topics, so nobody knows what you stand for. The first lines do not stop the scroll. And there is no rhythm: three posts one week, silence the next.

This course fixes those four things in order, one day at a time.

What you will learn

Write a headline that sells

Use the What + Who + Outcome formula so every visitor knows why to follow.

Plan content in three pillars

Stop asking what to post: expertise, experience and point of view.

Hook readers in two lines

Four hook styles and a post formula that ends with a real question.

Choose the right format

Text, image, document, video or poll, picked by goal.

Grow through comments

A target list and the 3C framework that turns comments into profile visits.

Track what matters

A baseline, a weekly review and goals built on actions you control.

What you leave with

By Day 7 you will have a rewritten profile you can defend line by line, three written content pillars with ten post ideas, a hook bank, your first post of the week published, a target list for daily comments, a four-week calendar and a baseline of your numbers to measure progress against.

Who this course is for

Founders and CEOs

You want LinkedIn to bring customers, hires and investors to you.

Freelancers and consultants

You want a profile and posts that make clients reach out first.

Marketers and growth teams

You want a repeatable system for personal and team accounts.

Creators starting on LinkedIn

You have tried posting, but there are almost no results yet.

Who it is not for

If you already post several times a week, have a clear niche and review your numbers every week, most of this course will be revision. Go straight to the LinkedIn comments course or the LinkedIn followers course for a deeper single-skill programme.

What you need to start

0 of 4 done

How much time it takes

Each lesson takes 12-15 minutes to read. The daily action takes another 20-30 minutes. After the course, the routine you build on Day 6 needs about 20 minutes a day plus one weekly writing session.

What to expect and when

  1. Days 1-7: the foundation
Your profile, pillars and first posts are in place. Expect the first replies and profile visits from your comments before follower growth shows.
  2. Weeks 2-4: the routine
Daily comments and two or three posts a week. LinkedCraft reports that most people who keep a daily commenting routine see a 200-300% increase in profile views by day 30.
  3. Months 2-3: compounding
Your best posts start to bring followers on their own, and your weekly review tells you which pillar and format to double down on.

Roadmap: from profile to growth engine

  1. Position
Make the profile say who you help and why to follow (Day 1).
  2. Plan
Turn your knowledge into three pillars and a list of ideas (Day 2).
  3. Publish
Write hooks, pick formats and ship your first post (Days 3-4).
  4. Participate
Grow through comments and a weekly rhythm (Days 5-6).
  5. Measure
Track your baseline and improve one thing a week (Day 7).

Four frameworks. The rest is reps.

What + Who + Outcome

The headline formula: what you do, for whom, with what result.

Three pillars

Expertise, experience and point of view, each written for one audience.

Hook, one idea, question

The post formula that earns the click on 'see more' and the reply at the end.

3C comments

Compliment, Contribute, Connect: comments that bring people to your profile.

7 days to a LinkedIn that grows

0 of 7 lessons done0%
  1. Every post you publish sends people to your profile, and the profile decides in seconds whether they follow, connect or leave. So the course starts there, before you write a single post.

Headline (up to 220 characters). Use the "What + Who + Outcome" formula: what you do, who you do it for and the result they get. "Fractional CFO | I help seed-stage SaaS founders close their next round with clean numbers" does far more than "CFO at Company X". Your headline also shows under your name on every comment you leave, so it works as a small ad on other people's posts.

Banner. Treat it like a billboard: one line that repeats your promise and, if you have it, one proof (a client logo, a result, a book).

About (up to 2,600 characters). Open with the reader's problem, not your biography. Then write three short paragraphs: what you help with, how you do it, and what to do next. Only the first lines show before "see more", so the hook goes there.

Featured. Pin your best post, a case study or a free resource. It is the first proof a curious visitor clicks.

Common mistake. A headline that lists only a job title and a company. Visitors from your posts do not know the company; they want to know what is in it for them.

    Before and after.

    • Weak: "Marketing Manager at Acme".
    • Strong: "I help B2B founders turn LinkedIn into a pipeline | Content systems for SaaS".

    Today's action

Rewrite your headline with the What + Who + Outcome formula and pin one piece of proof in Featured.

Where the information comes from

Each lesson is built on frameworks that creators and teams have documented publicly, and we name them where we use them: the What + Who + Outcome headline formula from LinkedGrow, the "comment more than you post" starting rule from Taplio Academy, and the 3C comment framework and 30-day commenting results from LinkedCraft. Character limits come from LinkedIn Help.

What this course covers, and what it does not

It covers: organic growth of a personal LinkedIn profile: positioning, content planning, writing, comments, a weekly rhythm and measurement.

It deliberately stops short of: paid LinkedIn ads, Sales Navigator outreach, job-search tactics and company page management. Those are different skills with different goals.

Why it is free

Because a course that sits behind a form helps fewer people. Every lesson is open: no login, no email, no catch. When you want real reactions on the posts you write in this course, upvote.club is one click away.

Start here: how to use this course

What this is. A 7-day course on growing a LinkedIn profile organically. One lesson and one action per day.

How to use it. Work through the days in order: each one builds on the last (the hooks on Day 3 use the ideas from Day 2, the comments on Day 5 rely on the headline from Day 1). If you are short on time, finish the action before moving on; the reading can wait, the practice cannot.

Track your progress. Open each day in the programme, tick the checklist as you go and take the self-check at the end. Your progress stays on this device.

What to do after the 7 days

  1. Repeat the weekly rhythm for four weeks
Two or three posts, daily comments, a Friday review.
  2. Compare with your baseline on day 30
Look at profile views, comments per post and new followers per week.
  3. Go deeper on one skill
Take the LinkedIn comments course or the LinkedIn followers course next.
  4. Get your best post in front of more people
Bring real engagement to the post that performed best and see how far it can go.

Frequently asked questions

Is this LinkedIn growth course really free?

Yes. All seven lessons, the tools and the self-check are open, with no login and no email.

Does a LinkedIn growth course work?

Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.

What does the course give me?

It grows the account, but you need the right tool.

How long does it take to work through?

Seven days: 12-15 minutes of reading and 20-30 minutes of practice per day.

When will I see results on LinkedIn?

Replies and profile visits from your comments usually come first, in the first week. Follower growth builds over weeks 2-4 as you keep the rhythm from Day 6.

Should I post or comment first if my account is new?

Comment first. With a small audience, thoughtful comments on bigger posts put your headline in front of far more people than your own posts can yet.

Where does the information come from?

From frameworks that creators documented publicly, named in each lesson, and from LinkedIn Help for limits such as the 3,000-character post and 220-character headline.

Can I take the course at my own pace?

Yes. The days are a suggested rhythm; your checklist progress is saved on this device.
