Check your Reddit visibility

Type a username without the u/ prefix. The check reads the public profile only; no login and no password.

2-step visibility check

  1. Enter the username
Type any Reddit username without the u/ prefix. You can check your own account or any other.
  2. Read the status report
Green means the profile is served publicly, with karma and account age. Anything else comes with an explanation.
  3. Decide the next step
If the profile is visible, keep posting. If it is not, confirm the spelling and run the manual check below.

How does the Reddit visibility check work?

The tool asks Reddit for the account's public profile, the same thing a logged-out visitor would see, and reports whether Reddit serves it. A profile that loads means the account is present on public Reddit. Active accounts also return karma and age.

Be precise about what this answers. It is about the account: is it publicly there at all. It says nothing about individual posts, which a community can hide one at a time while the profile stays intact.

What the result actually means

What you seeWhat it meansWhat it does not prove
Reddit serves the profileThe account is visible on public Reddit. That every post is visible: single posts can be hidden in one community while the profile is fine.
Reddit returns no profile dataThe public profile did not load. Why: a mistyped handle, a deleted account and a hidden account all look the same here.
Mixed or slow responseReddit did not answer cleanly this time.Anything yet: run the check again in a few minutes.

How to check your Reddit visibility by hand

The same test by hand, without the tool:

  1. Open a private window
Log out, or use a private browsing window.
  2. Visit your profile
    Go to reddit.com/user/your-handle.
  3. Compare with your logged-in view
If your profile is missing in the private window but fine in your logged-in tab, that gap is the visibility problem.
  4. Check a single post
Open one recent post in the private window. If the post is gone while the profile loads, the issue is that post, not the account.

Checking something else?

The checker answers one question: does Reddit show this account publicly. Related questions have their own tools.

Frequently asked questions

How does this Reddit visibility checker work?

It requests the public profile of the username, the same view a logged-out visitor gets, and reports whether Reddit serves it, with karma and account age.

Is this checker free?

Yes. No sign-up and no login.

Can I check someone else's account?

Yes. Any public Reddit username works.

Why does a profile return no data?

A typo, a deleted account or a hidden account all return the same empty answer, so confirm the spelling first.

Does a visible profile mean all my posts are visible?

No. The check is account-level. Open a single post in a logged-out window to check that post.

What can I do if my posts get little reach but the profile is visible?

Look at where and when you post: subreddit fit, timing and the first comments matter most.

Does getting early upvotes on a visible Reddit account work?

Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.
