What is a TikTok follow pod?
A TikTok follow pod is follow for follow with a group around it: creators follow each other and expect a follow back. On TikTok it mostly happens in Discord servers, which are among the busiest F4F servers of any platform, and in comment sections.
The vocabulary you will see: F4F, follow4follow, L4L and V4V.
Why followers work differently on TikTok
On TikTok the follower number matters less than almost anywhere, because the For You page judges each video on how people respond to that video. An account with 12 followers can pull a million views.
Followers still matter in one way: they are the people who see your new videos in their Following feed and come back for more. So the followers worth having are the ones who watch. Engagement rate by followers is your likes and comments divided by your followers, and followers who watch keep it healthy.
How TikTok follow for follow usually runs
- Find a room
A Discord server with its own F4F channel, or a comment section where people offer F4F. - Drop your handle
You post your TikTok handle in the channel. - Follow the others
You follow the people who dropped their handles before you. - Get followed back
They follow you back, and you check who did. - Keep the list
People keep track of who followed back and who did not.
How to make a follow pod that gives results
Followers give results when they watch your videos. That is the result upvote.club delivers.
Followers into your niche
People who follow you for your topic watch, like and comment on your next videos.
Followers who watch
A follower who watches is the kind TikTok's Following feed and your engagement rate need.
Followers who stay
People who came for your content have a reason to stay for the next video.
No follow-back list
You do not have to follow dozens of accounts and track who followed you back.
Done right with upvote.club
You add your profile and get followers interested in your kind of content.
What a good TikTok follower looks like
A good follower:
- follows you for your content, not for a follow back;
- watches your new videos when they appear in Following;
- likes, comments and shares now and then;
- comes back for the next part of your series.
That is the kind of follower you get with upvote.club.
