X thread maker

Paste a long text and get an X thread: every part under 280 characters, split at natural breaks, with optional numbering. Your words are split, not rewritten.

How the X thread maker works

  1. Paste your text
A blog post, newsletter excerpt, essay or raw notes, up to 10,000 characters.
  2. It splits at natural breaks
Paragraph and sentence boundaries first, never mid-sentence, with each part under the X limit.
  3. Your voice stays intact
Nothing is rewritten or summarized. Only Markdown symbols that do not render are removed.
  4. Copy each part
Copy the whole thread or each part on its own, in order.

How the splitter decides where to cut

Sentences first: a part ends at the last full sentence that fits. Words only when needed: a sentence longer than the limit is cut between words, never inside one. Links stay whole: a URL is never split across two parts. On X a link always costs 23, so it never forces an early cut.

Numbering and long posts on X

Stop each part around 250 to 260 characters so a "2/7"-style label still fits inside the 280. Every link costs a flat 23, so the splitter can keep a long URL whole without a surprise. On X Premium a single post can run to 25,000 characters, but a thread keeps each beat short and quotable.

The first part carries the thread. Real likes and replies on it are what pull readers into the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Do threads work on X?

Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.

How long can each X post in a thread be?

280 weighted characters on a free account.

Will the tool rewrite my content?

No. It splits your text at natural breaks and keeps your words.

Should I add numbers like "1/5"?

It is optional. When you turn numbering on, the label is counted inside each part's limit.

How many characters should each X part use?

Around 250 to 260, so a "2/7" label still fits inside 280.

How many characters can an X post have?

Every link costs 23 characters and every emoji 2.
