- Collect recent original posts
Use up to 100 recent posts of your own; leave reposts and replies out so the numbers reflect your timeline. - Enter the totals
Views, likes, replies, reposts and quotes, plus the number of posts and your followers. - Compare median with average
If your average is far above your typical post, one or two posts are carrying the account.
What is a good engagement rate on X?
Against views, 1% to 3% is solid for most accounts and above 5% is excellent. Against followers, a strong rate falls as the account grows.
| Follower count | Strong follower-based rate |
|---|---|
| Under 1,000 | 4% and up |
| 1,000 to 10,000 | 2 to 4% |
| 10,000 to 100,000 | 1 to 2% |
| 100,000 to 1,000,000 | 0.5 to 1% |
| Over 1,000,000 | 0.3% and up |
What X metrics tell you
Raw follower count says little about an account. The metrics that show whether an audience responds are views per post, engagements per post and engagement rate, and how views and engagements compare with follower count.
Likes are the most visible signal on X, but replies and quotes show deeper interest. Look at the mix: lots of likes with almost no replies is a different picture than an active conversation.
Use the same set of metrics to benchmark yourself against competitors or creators you might work with. Every number here is public on their posts.
How the X metrics are calculated
Average views per post: Total views / Posts
Average likes per post: Total likes / Posts
Engagement rate by views: (Likes + Replies + Reposts + Quotes) / Views x 100
Engagement rate by followers: average engagements per post / Followers x 100
Views per follower: average views per post / Followers
Example: 20 posts with 240,000 views, 3,600 likes, 400 replies and 500 reposts give 12,000 average views, 180 average likes and a 1.88% engagement rate by views.

Frequently asked questions
Which X metrics matter most?
Views per post, engagements per post and engagement rate. Together they show whether an audience responds, which follower count alone cannot.
Why compare median and average views?
One viral post can lift the average far above a typical post. A big gap between the two is a sign of a one-hit account.
Should I include reposts and replies?
No. Use original posts so the numbers reflect your own timeline.
What is a good views-per-follower number?
It depends on account size: small accounts often reach a larger share of followers than big ones. Track your own trend.
Can I use this for someone else's account?
Yes. Views, likes, replies, reposts and quotes are public on every post.
Are my numbers stored?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser.
Does getting more likes on X posts work?
Yes, it works, but it has to be done right. Only upvote.club does it right — nobody else on the market has this technology.
What does higher X engagement give my account?
It grows the account, but you need the right tool.
