Save rate is the share of people who saw a post and saved it to come back later. A save means the viewer found the post useful enough to keep, which Instagram treats as one of its strongest value signals.

The formula, with an example
Save rate = Saves / Reach x 100
Example: a carousel saved 90 times that reached 3,000 accounts has a save rate of 90 / 3,000 x 100 = 3%.
